JOE CARNEY
President
Joe is Vice-President of Derema Group, a National Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising company specializing in the Marine and Outdoor industries. He has lived in the district since 1997. His son Christopher participated in Varsity Wrestling, graduated in June of 2008, and is attending college. His daughter, Lizzy, is due to graduate in June 2010 and participates in Varsity Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse. Joe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 with a major in Biology, and played Varsity Football for four years. He received his MBA in Marketing from Drexel University in 1983. Joe coached in the Unionville Recreation Association, and was Director of the Radley Run CC Junior Golf Program for four years. He also has been active in Unionville Booster club activities, primarily in creating the tournament and seasonal programs for wrestling, basketball, and soccer. He lives with his wife Patty in Birmingham Township.

CRAIG STEVENS
Vice-President & Teams Committee
Craig is Associate Professor of Exercise Science in the Department of Kinesiology at West Chester University. He is also their NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative. He has lived in the district since 1994. He has two sons. Bryan graduated from Unionville in 2007 and participated in Varsity football, wrestling and lacrosse, and is playing lacrosse currently at Washington (MD) College. He is also an Eagle Scout. Grady is due to graduate from Unionville in June 2009 and participates in Varsity football, wrestling and lacrosse. He is also working toward Eagle Scout achievement. Craig graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1974. He received his Ph.D. from Temple University in 1989. He played football and wrestled in college and also served as Sports Information Director at Hopkins, and as the Head Wrestling Coach. He also has experience in coaching at the collegiate level in football, power lifting, conditioning, and crew. He is currently an Assistant Coach with the Boys Varsity Lacrosse team. He has been very involved in youth coaching in the district, and lives with his wife Sue in Unionville.cstevens@wcupa.edu
MICHAEL NALLS

Michael is a financial services professional. He has lived in the district since 1992. He has two sons and a daughter. His daughter, Kristin, participated in Varsity Basketball, Tennis, Soccer and Swimming, and graduated in June of 2006, and is attending college. His son, Jake, participated in Varsity Football, Lacrosse, and Swimming and graduated in June 2008 and is attending college. His son, Jude, is due to graduate in June 2011 and participates in Varsity Swimming. Michael graduated from the University of Maryland in 1981 with a major in Business Management. He was part of Coach Clark’s Varsity Football coaching staff in 2004, 2005, and 2006. Michael resides in East Marlborough with his wife Tricia.

KAREN BACCI
Secretary & Fund-Raising Committee
Karen graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN), and is currently a Clinical Data Analyst for Omnicare Clinical Research, Inc. She has lived in the school district since 1998. Karen has two daughters that have completed their Unionville schooling and both are at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in pharmacology. Both Jenny and Katie participated in Varsity track while in high school. Her son, Nick is due to graduate in June 2009, and participates in Varsity Football and Lacrosse. She has been very active in Unionville High School Booster Clun activities. Karen has been Boys Lacrosse Booster Club VP since 2006 and is a Committee Chair for the Quarterback Club. She also was one of the founders of the Track & Field Booster Club and was Co-Chair 5 years and a Committee member of the successful Track & Stadium Project. For the last three years, she has been Sponsor Chair for SHINE, a fundraiser for The Cancer Center of Chester County. She lives with her husband Art (also a SJS grad) in Birmingham Township)

Jim grew up in Western Pennsylvania. He has two sons. Robert graduated from Unionville in June of 2008, and participated in Varsity Basketball and Football. His other son, Michael, is due to graduate in June of 2011. Michael plays Varsity Football, Basketball, and Lacrosse. Jim is currently President of his own Information Technology Company specializing in Health Systems. Jim graduated from Princeton University in 1974, and played Varsity Football and Rugby. MARK ROBILLARD
Technology Committee
Mark is Vice President of Life Sciences for VWR International, LLC, a global distributor of laboratory instrumentation and supplies. All three of Mark’s children have attended Unionville High School. Janine graduated in June 2002, participated in Varsity Softball and captained the Varsity Cheerleading squad. She went on to earn a B.A. in Biology from the University of Delaware and presently works in the clinical drug development industry. Stephen, a June 2004 graduate of UHS, served as captain of the Varsity Wrestling team for two years. He graduated from University of Virginia in 2007 also with a Biology degree and is now an Associate Producer for a television production company in Los Angeles. Alex is a junior at Unionville and a three year starter on the Varsity Wrestling team. Alex will captain the team next year and is also a LINK instructor. Mark is the former and in coming President of the Unionville Wrestling Association. He led the development of UHS first sports team web site in 2003 and has maintained the wrestling team web site for the past three years. Mark lives with his wife Regina in Birmingham Township.

RICHARD KAISER
Facility Committee
Rick is the Facilities Services Coordinator for Astra Zeneca. Rick is responsible for Facility and Building Management and major contracts at the corporate headquarters facility of over 2.1 million square feet and 121 acres. He has two children. Richard is due to graduate from Unionville High School in June 2011 and plays Varsity Lacrosse and Football. Caroline is due to graduate in June 2016 and plays soccer, basketball and lacrosse. Rick is a 1980 graduate of Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois and obtained his Master’s degree from West Chester University in 1986. He played Varsity football and baseball in college. In Rick's previous life, he was a middle school teacher and coach at Tower Hill School in Wilmington, DE. Rick has been highly involved with URA and SCCSA for many years. Rick and his wife Judy have lived in Pennsbury Township for the past 14 years.
