Unionville Sports Council sends army of 140 Student/Athletes for Red Clay Valley Clean-up (cont'd)

The Red Clay Valley Association is the second oldest small watershed organization in America. It’s purpose is the protection and conservation of the natural resources in the Red Clay Watershed, through which 43 million gallons of water flow daily, encompassing fifty-five square miles of rolling hills, woodlands, and farms in the local area. “We want to thank the Unionville Sports Council for organizing such a large group of enthusiastic and hard working students and adults,” says Jim Jordan, Executive Director of the Red Clay Valley Association. “It was by far the largest single group that participated this year and 21st Annual Red Clay Valley Clean Up would not have been nearly as successful without all of their efforts.”
